Where Faith Meets Recovery
Hand in Hand provides recovery resources through mentoring, guidance, and training for all positive life skills. We exist to help men and women who possess a strong desire to overcome their wounds, addictons, and addictve behaviors.
WHAT WE DO
Hand in Hand offers a yearlong in-house program in three stages.
We utilize traditional scientifically proven and faith-based curriculum.
We currently have 5 homes with a total of 52 beds.
Many in addiction go without help because they cannot afford treatment. Hand in Hand offers a low-cost option to families in need.
WHY IT MATTERS
Drug and alcohol abuse is rampant in our society. It devastates not only the addict, but their family and circle of friends.
Drug overdose is now the leading cause of death in young people ages 18-44.
Hand in Hand is in partnership with our local law enforcement agencies to help get addicts off the street, keep them out of the jail system and decrease crime in our community.
Since 2019, there has been a 235% increase in overdose emergencies and a 257% increase in overdose fatalities in unincorporated Lake County alone.
We must come together as a church and community to fight this spiritual battle by lifting up the addict and their families.
WHY HAND IN HAND
Hand in Hand is special in that we are a Christ-centered program offering a path to healing through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our clients are loved by our staff and volunteers, surrounded by an encouraging community of faith.
We incorporate the values of God, Relationships, Integrity and Truth in our signature G.R.I.T. program.
Scientific studies show that faith is a positive factor in recovery and those with faith heal faster.

“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” - Romans 5:3-5
